Recipient Eligibility

Westchester Neighbors Food Pantry serves the residents of Westchester, Liberty, Pine, and Jackson Townships

Effective January 2024, when updating your registration, and if you are a new client, you will be required to provide:

• Proof of Township Residency (NIPSCO bill, a lease agreement, etc.)

• Proof of Income for ALL adults living in the household that you request food for, this includes:

  • Job Income (full or part-time, W2)

  • Social Security

  • Pension

  • Disability

  • Child Support

  • Food Stamps

  • Other Income

• Proof of Housing Costs per month (rent, mortgage, lot fee...)

• Number of people living (not visiting) in your household
  

NOTE: Registrations will be updated once a year. If your address, income, or number of people living in home changes during the year, please let us know and we will update your information.
